Rental cars.
The easiest way to get to Waiuku and Castaways is by driving. You can rent a car from the Auckland CBD, Auckland Airport or Hamilton Airport. If you’re from the US, we drive on the left… or perhaps that’s the RIGHT. You’ll figure it out.

Waiuku - Castaways (approx 15 minutes)
Shuttles from Auckland Airport.
Another option is a shuttle service between Auckland Airport and Waiuku.
Franklin Shuttles charge $140 each way for a van trip with a maximum of 10 passengers (so $14 per passenger if you can fill the van). Single customers cost considerably more - about $80. Call them in advance on 0800 536 484.

Trains from Auckland run regularly to Papakura, but you’d need to organise a taxi or shuttle from there.
